Left a lot photos taken last Nov decaying in my folder so since I’m free now imma blog about them.
Haha. So I actually finished my first semester last November and sister came to visit(sort of accompanying) me when I was sitting for my exams. As soon as my last paper was done, we explored around Melbourne. Well I actually slacked at home for a few days to recharge my battery. Otherwise I would be toooooo tired to go anywhere. #oldalready
It was a HOT(32°C) day. Hottest moment in my life, yes hotter than the typical 32°C in Malaysia and I don’t understand why. So hot I could feel the UV killing every single cells in my body wtf. It wasn’t even summer yet, I can’t imagine how the people here are going to stand the summer heat later 😮
😎
Arrived at Middle Brighton. #foreverblueskyinaus
Choo chooooooo! This place simply reminds me of a scene from those FBI movies, you know like those police chasing after some criminals on top of a train..or something like that lol.
Can see locals occupying the spots every where. Read newspapers, sun tan, picnic, volleyball, build sandcastles with their kids, dating, just couldn’t stop myself from observing the people around. Sitting not far from me was a group of old aunties. Could hear them gossiping about their colleagues from work lol.
The result of putting me in the middle of a beach, checking out good views. Just right infront of me here. Nice view. Nice one.
Chilling on the beach. If I didn’t remember wrongly, I applied like 3 layers of sunscreen because I heard Aus has the highest rate of people dying from skin cancer.
Don’t have to worry about assignments. I looooove the feeling.
So free that I bothered to admire how beautiful MCD was beneath the blue sky lol
Then we had Nitro Lab icecreams. Got to choose between chocolate or raspberry syrup to fill into the syringe for extra boost of sauce in the icecream.

Also went to St Paul’s Cathedral. Yes, it was so majestic!!! Completely awestruck when I entered.
Visiting place like this felt so therapeutic even when I’m not a Christian(or Catholic?). I was lucky enough that day because the choir group was having a singing practice in the cathedral! They had one of the most soothing and calming voices I had ever heard. It was SO angelic! 😮 😮
Actually I wasn’t allowed to take pictures inside. But….Im sorry it would be a waste if I didn’t lol
I would love to have my wedding here some day..or any churches/cathedrals similar to structure like this *hint hint to future husband*
A small counter for us to make donation and light up the candle. 🙂
Because Christmas was around the corner, Santa post boxes started appearing everywhere(but this is the only one I found so far)
Sis bought kangaroo and koala Hello Kitty. She said they are only available in Aus
Had the besteeeeest Churro ever
Also the bestessssst pancake ever! 2 chocolate pancakes, covered with generous amount of chocolate sauce, sprinkled with loooots of tiny thing(I don’t know what were they called, they weren’t sweet but very crunchy!!) which I love!!! ❤
Crepes filled with bolognese sauce lol. The salad was AMAZINGLY good
Then we spent a few days shopping around for christmas presents..and bought a lot of cosmetics T_T
Bought an advent calender and some chocolates for my family
Then we spent the whole day in Myer toy department
and also saw their amazing FIFA lego built-ups
FIFA Football Field
Luna Theme Park
The things we got for our niece and nephew. I got myself something from Mr. Men and Little Miss too. They’re quite popular in Aus
Christmas lighting event, literally projected the light on Melbourne Town Hall with music playing in the background. IT WAS SO COOL!!
It was a free show and I could watch all I want until I was satisfied because the lighting projection kept repeating itself for a few hours.. and each show lasted for 10mins o_o
When I’m too lazy to eat out or cook healthy meal, I would opt for instant maggi mee. There’s a convenient Asian store right below my apartment, selling every possible snacks, cooking ingredients and instant food you can think of. My life saviour.
Then every morning when I got out of my apartment, I would check if there was a Limo parked behind because each day the colour of the Limo would change! I saw a pink one that day. I think they were renting it out for a wedding event.
